Apple remains the most valuable brand in 2025, with a value of $574.5 billion, according to Brand Finance’s 2025 Global 500 rankings, published by Anadolu.

The brand’s value has increased compared to 2024, when it was already at the top of the ranking, with $516.6 billion.

Microsoft and Google follow with $461.1 billion and $413 billion respectively, recording increases of 35% and 24%.

Amazon ranks fourth with $356.4 billion, followed by Walmart with $137.2 billion, Samsung with $110.6 billion, TikTok/Douyin with $105.8 billion, Facebook with $91.5 billion of dollars, Nvidia with 87.9 billion dollars and State Grid Corporation of China with 85.6 billion dollars.

The ranking reveals that among the 500 companies, 190 are from the United States, 55 from China, 36 from Japan, 35 from , 27 from Germany and 17 from the United Kingdom.

Muhterem Ilguner, Managing Director of Brand Finance Türkiye, told Anadolu that the total value of the world’s top 500 brands increased by 10 percent compared to the previous year, reaching $9.5 trillion in 2025, surpassing the global economic growth rate of 3%.

Ilguner emphasized that despite all the government support, brands in Türkiye have not yet reached a sufficient level.

“Countries are only as rich as their brands, because they derive their prosperity and reputation from them. The value of the lowest ranked brand in the ranking is $4.9 billion, and since no Turkish brand reached this value, Turkish brands failed to make the list,” a- he declared.

“Over the past decade, the value gap between the most valuable Turkish brands and the lowest ranked brand among the top 500 has widened. For example, the brand value of Austrian Red Bull reached $9.7 billion and that of Swiss luxury watch brand Rolex reached $18.8 billion. What is even more remarkable is that Vietnamese telecommunications company Viettel has reached a brand value of $6.4 billion,” he added.

Ilguner emphasized that Türkiye needs a national branding movement, and this must be thoroughly examined with the participation of the public and private sectors in order to pave the way for Turkish brands to achieve value in the scene. international.
