Ambilight doesn't seem like it, but it can really change the atmosphere of an evening. With colored lights emitted from the back of the screen, which can adapt to the colors displayed, and thus artificially extend the visual atmosphere on the wall behind your TV, it's quite an experience. And that's not all that can be done. And here, we are only talking about the “gadget” aspect of the Philips 55PUS8209, we have not yet addressed the technical side with the QLED panel. A 55″ television like this Philips Ambilight 55PUS8209 model is exactly what is suitable for most living rooms. Not too big, not too small, it offers you a quality Ultra HD image with the added benefit of QLED technology. The Q in QLED is there for Quantum, which emphasizes their miniature appearance. As there are fewer, there are more, which, on the one hand, increases the brightness, accentuates the contrasts and brings more nuances to the colors displayed.
As we explained to you above, Ambilight is Philips' own technology. Lights on the back light up based on the colors displayed on the screen. You can choose another fixed color, if you prefer, subdued lighting to rest the eyes, white to accentuate the contrast with the image… The possibilities are great and you can change the scene as you wish. You can even use the Ambilight as an alarm clock with a dawn simulator, if the TV is in your room.
A television suitable for gaming
