Tales of Graces f Remastered
The legendary Tale of saga returns here with Tales of Graces f Remastered, a pure Japanese action-RPG which invites you to follow the adventures of three young children, in charge of saving the future on the lush planet of Ephinea. It is then possible to choose between two completely different combat styles, but also to benefit from improved graphics, new practical features (such as automatic saving, the possibility of deactivating certain enemy encounters) or even content that is still as rich as ever.. Moreover, this remastered edition includes “Lineage & Legacy”, an expansion whose context takes place six months after the end of the game. And we can only say yes to that.

Dynasty Warriors : Origins
By far one of the biggest games of the start of the year. Cult saga begun in 1997, Dynasty Warriors is back with a new opus which, this time, intends to bring a real breath of fresh air: Koei Tecmo has redoubled its efforts on the graphics engine, on the gaming sensations, on the narration, on the staging… This muso, which asks you to face hundreds of enemies during gigantic military battles, clearly promises to be one of the most refined ever made. So of course, it is a fairly unique genre of game, which some would even consider niche over time, but it is certainly not dead and Dynasty Warriors Origins intends to restore its letters of nobility. Suffice to say that we intend to monitor it closely.

Star Wars Episode I : Jedi Power Battles
Originally released in 2000, Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles returns with a revamped version to the delight of Star Wars fans, nostalgic fans or simply the curious. It’s definitely a somewhat special game in the series. since it is a very arcade side-scrolling action title: you can play as Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Plo Koon, Adi Gallia or Qui-Gon Jinn in their quest to retake Theed Palace against a horde of drones, villains and other adversaries. We jump, we cut, we dodge and above all, we give pride of place to pure fun: this new version even allows you to play as Darth Maul, Captain Panaka, Queen Amidala, Ki-Adi-Mundi and the battle droid from the start. That’s not all, since we can count on a two-player local co-op modea Classic and New Game Plus mode, new gameplay (with the possibility of choosing the old one) and quite a few other surprises for the 25th episode of Episode I.

Eternal Strands
Halfway between a Zelda and a Monster Hunter, this action-adventure game puts you in the shoes of Brunn, a heroine gifted with bladed weapons, but also with magical abilities who will go on a quest to explore and some huge enemies to sweep away. Casually, this rather ambitious game (developed by industry veterans) relies on clashes that do not skimp on grandiloquence: the exploration of the world promises to be colorful and exotic, with a whole magical arsenal to unlock and use for a myriad of possibilities. Eternal Strands is potentially one of the nice surprises of the start of the year, so we will also be watching it closely.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap
The Orcs Must Die saga! is therefore preparing to welcome a newcomer: Deathtrap therefore takes the form of a completely crazy tower defense with a little rogue-lite side to defend your territory against incessant hordes of orcs to shamelessly cut up. It can be played in cooperation with four people, the progression system promises to be dense and above all, the varied levels, the gameplay possibilities and the level design promise excellent replayability. If you need a good dose of action, this is where it happens and besides, let’s point out that this is an Xbox exclusive.

Sniper Elite : Resistance
Return to France with this spin-off of the Sniper Elite saga which will arrive on January 30: not sure that there is much new to say since the last episode, but the formula is after all extremely well established, pleasant and malignant. This time, we play a new character but still with a similar goal: destroying Nazis by the hundred and thwarting the plans of the German occupation, while collaborating with the French resistance. Each level therefore benefits from a fine level design, offering several objectives to accomplish with an extraction point at the end: it’s up to you to choose whether you opt for infiltration or more muscular methods, and the same for gameplay realism, ballistic physics to support it. Ah, another important detail: the entire campaign is playable for two people in online cooperation, which always adds a little significant character.
