The circus around the Switch 2, fueled by massive leaks (one of them is from Numerama) and Nintendo’s silence, continues. While the Japanese firm is still not decided to speak out, it is resorting to yet another strange line of communication. How Nintendo plays with fans’ nerves
In the comments of the tweet, many Internet users applauded Nintendo for this troll. “ Lol the troll » with an emoji crying with laughter or even “ OMG incredible, so this is the Switch 2, the leaks were all fake “, we can read. It’s hard, in fact, not to notice that Nintendo is having fun by burying its head in the sand. Another proof: the Japanese account of the social network
In any case, Nintendo continues its strange communication around the Switch 2, a product that it still refuses to mention despite leaks which only corroborate each other. In recent weeks, we have even seen a host of strange announcements: an expensive alarm clock, a music streaming application, a pair of headphones and, therefore, this Lego Game Boy. Or anything, except what the community really hopes for.
It should nevertheless be remembered that Nintendo has promised to present the console that will succeed the Switch before March 31, 2025 – the date on which the fiscal year will end. There is no doubt that the multinational is waiting until the last moment to sell a few more copies of Switch, given that the general public is not necessarily aware of the leaks. There’s also a question of interest: if the Switch 2 is unexciting on the hardware side, only games will matter — an area still under wraps.
