Chatting with anyone, regardless of their language: this is an accessible reality thanks to the W4 Pro headphones from Timekettle. These true wireless headphones are in fact capable of live translation of a conversation between two people who do not speak the same language. It works during a face-to-face discussion or during a phone call.
The W4 Pro is capable of translating 40 languages when connected and 8 offline. To be as realistic as possible, the translation can adopt 93 different accents.

Concretely, during a face-to-face discussion, each interlocutor must wear an earphone. When one begins to speak, the second hears the translation of the words live. On the other hand, if Timekettle announces 0.5 seconds of latency, we understood our interlocutor after only 3 to 5 seconds.
However, you must install the mobile application to configure the headphones and choose the language into which the words should be translated. The manipulation must be done before the discussion. The system then loses a little of its meaning; we would have preferred if the headphones were able to detect both spoken languages.
The headphones are announced with 10 hours of battery life and recharge via USB-C once stored in their magnetic case.
According to Timekettle, the W4 Pros are intended for professional use; which we can understand given their size. The manufacturer had already released a much more compact pair of headphones, but they were single-tasking: they were only capable of translating discussions. With the W4 Pro, users can also listen to music, for example.
So, when will we see a product that is both versatile and aesthetic?
