We are well aware of the concept of From lifewhich consists of living or traveling in a vehicle adapted according to your needs. The South Korean manufacturer LG Electronics decided to go even further by developing a concept vehicle that translates your home or office onto the road. The idea: to eliminate the boundaries between home and mobility.
Baptized Lifestyle Solution for Mobilitythis concept vehicle, whose appearance is reminiscent of a small RV, introduces the platform LG Mobility Experience (MX), allowing LG’s full suite of electrical and electronic equipment to be integrated into a mobile environment. This platform ensures a seamless connection between mobility and the smart home, thus offering, according to LG, new and unique life experiences. LG relies on its ThinQ ON technology, powered by artificial intelligence.
Working and living on the road
More simply, the MX platform is based on the double cabin concept and is divided into two distinct spaces: the driver’s cabin at the front and a rear space that is fully modular according to user needs. This versatile space can be configured in different ways: home extension, private lounge or creative studio, allowing you to work and live on the road.
Additionally, users can benefit from convenient services like managing daily schedules and receiving real-time information. Additional services offered by external providers — such as meal ordering, laundry and hotel reservations — can also be integrated to enrich the user experience.
A concept in line with trends
The MX platform aligns with current trends in the automotive industry and responds to new consumer preferences, which are moving away from traditional notions of transportation to embrace the idea of vehicles as personalized living spaces.
In order to make this concept accessible to as many people as possible, LG plans to market it in the form of a subscription.
