Making watches takes time, it is an art of patience. But managing brands is an elite sport where decisions must be made quickly. The year 2024 was still far from over when leaders finalized the 2025 budgets, while keeping an eye on developments planned for the next five or ten years. Projection work, carried out with limited on-board instruments and on the basis of indicators that are wavering to say the least, starting with watch exports, the decline of which augurs various effects in the medium and long term.
