[UP] Important update in our article about Fortnite and its Counter-Strike-inspired mode. Indeed, the multiplayer title is launching its Frenzy world around the world for free now. Everything is celebrated on video.
After years of waiting and thousands of requests, the very famous shooter Fortnite will launch for the very first time an official mode which will remain in first person over time. It therefore becomes an FPS with a first possibility of playing 5 against 5. Clashes which resemble what we find in Counter-Strike or even Valuing.
This mode is called Fortnite Frenzy (Ballistic in English) and it will open to the whole world via early access which begins on December 11. A very nice pickaxe which will revive all the interest of the game. Here is the teaser for Frenzy. Obviously, construction has no place here.
Frenzy begins with the Megapolis 10 map. It includes a set of starter weapons and a limited number of items. Subsequently, the studio will make adjustments based on feedback. The developers will be making larger updates to add additional maps, weapons and features.
As for the game mode, it pits two teams against each other. Attackers and defenders who must take turns posing a bomb on one of the sites. Nothing revolutionary under the sun. Nevertheless, the player base as well as the thousands of cosmetics are sure to nourish the game for years to come.
Finally, please note that Frénésie will offer ranked and unranked games.
Fortnite is a free game available on all platforms.
