Game news PlayStation Plus: the December 2024 games are here with Sonic and the return of these cult PS2 franchises

If you are a PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra subscriber, then you are probably waiting with curiosity for all the games that will arrive next month. For December 2024, the program has just been announced.
The three PS Plus formulas
PlayStation Plus is available in three options: before getting to the heart of the matter, a quick reminder of each of them.
- The PlayStation Plus Essential: this is the first and least expensive step, which includes the possibility of playing online, but also of storing your saves online and having exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store. A proposition that has existed for a long time at Sony.
- The PlayStation Plus Extra: this formula includes all the advantages of the previous one, but above all it gives access to a large catalog of several hundred PS4 and PS5 games, renewed every month with new entries… and departures. It's the game.
- Le PlayStation Plus Premium : the ultimate formula. It includes everything that the PS Plus Extra offers, but subscribers can also enjoy retro games from the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP. In addition, they have the opportunity to play a selection of games for the first two hours to form an opinion before deciding whether to buy them or not. Finally, they can play PS5 games in cloud gaming in 4K / 120 FPS directly on PS5, but can also play these same games in cloud gaming on the PlayStation Portal without needing any PS5.
You wanted them, here they are: eleven PS4 and PS5 games will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers from Tuesday December 17, 2024. Note that additional games, not yet revealed, will arrive on December 19.
If you are a PlayStation Plus Premium subscriber, then you will be pleased to know that the Sly and Jak & Daxter franchises will make their return through the porting of certain beloved games. Without forgetting a title dedicated to PSVR2!
