After Adèle Exarchopoulos and Pierre Niney, it is the turn of Christian Clavier to board the car of Loris Giuliano, a 30-year-old content creator and a real phenomenon for several years on social networks. After having cut his teeth in Sébastien Cauet's team on NRJ, the native of Montpellier (Hérault) created his YouTube channel where he is followed by more than 1.8 million subscribers. For a few weeks now, he has been collaborating with Canal+ and in the last episode of Loris Giuliano walkinghe crosses the streets of the capital alongside the great friend of Thierry Lhermitte and Josiane Balasko.
During their trip to Paris, Christian Clavier and Loris Giuliano pass near the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the reopening of which took place last weekend. Filmed several weeks ago, the episode shows the building with still quite a bit of construction to complete. “Ah yes, it’s impressive!”exclaims the 72-year-old actor, before adding: “Are you aware of the scaffolding there?” A man, sitting in the back of the vehicle, then speaks: “I think thatwith the money they spent here, they could have built hospitals”.
Christian Clavier defends the renovation of Notre-Dame
If Loris Giuliano seems to agree with the words of this person, the one who spoke personally a week after the void left by Michel Blanc last October, does not share this point of view at all. “This is an extraordinary cultural heritage. It cannot be compared. They can do both. It doesn’t make sense to say that”he retorts. But this is not to Loris Giuliano's taste: “But they don’t do both, that’s the problem Christian. There you have it, we must denounce”.
As a reminder, the renovation of Notre-Dame-de-Paris cost nearly 700 million euros and was carried out solely thanks to donations, which reached the sum of 846 million euros. The surplus of almost 150 million euros will be “reassigned to urgent exterior restorations”as Philippe Jost, president of the public establishment Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris, explained to BFMTV.
