Announced just a few weeks ago, this more affordable version of the Chinese manufacturer’s latest high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, sports a technical sheet that remains no less attractive, especially in its Pro version. A mid-range with a premium feel

Although positioned as a more affordable smartphone than the Xiaomi 14, the Chinese manufacturer’s true flagship, the Xiaomi 14T Pro was nevertheless launched at a price of 900 euros, which is ultimately not that affordable. The reason for this is quite simply that this Pro version of the 14T series – supposed to be more accessible – flirts largely with premium. You only have to look at its elegant and refined design, with finishes worthy of the most high-end models to realize this. The Xiaomi 14T Pro indeed sports titanium edges that look great, despite having compact dimensions (160.4 × 75.1 × 8.39 mm for 209 g).

And the screen only reinforces this idea since it too is of a notch higher quality. Its 6.67” AMOLED panel which displays 2712 x 1220 pixels for a density of 460 ppi benefits from a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz depending on use. The Xiaomi 14T Pro continues to shine in terms of brightness with 1337 nits. Enough to ensure, even in direct sunlight.

A real interface designed for the user

The Xiaomi 14T Pro benefits from the new version of Xiaomi’s operating system, HyperOS. A much more aesthetic interface which above all offers more in-depth customization to its users. Added to this is artificial intelligence, with several interesting features, including the famous “Circle to search” which allows you to launch an online search by surrounding an element in a photo, but also Interpreter AI, Notes AI or even AI Recorder.

At the same time, Xiaomi is skipping several pre-installed applications. The Chinese manufacturer has finally understood how annoying bloatware can be and that’s a very good thing, even if some persist.

Finally, in terms of autonomy, Xiaomi does not disappoint since its 14T Pro more than lasts a day with intensive use and can even last two days with more moderate use. And for the most addicted, 120W fast charging allows you to recharge the battery in just 30 minutes. What more could you ask for?
