A screen that flatters the retina
The Realme GT 7 Pro is resolutely a high-end smartphone, and this is reflected in its design. It indeed sports an aluminum frame with flat edges as well as a slightly curved screen, which gives it an elegance that is quite pleasing to the eye. Above all, the brand has not done things by halves regarding the solidity of its new device: this GT 7 Pro is IP69 certified. It is therefore obviously resistant to dust and water (more particularly immersion beyond 1 meter for 30 minutes), but not only that: it is even protected against high pressure cleaning. Yes, just that.
On the screen side, it is also flawless since Realme has opted for a 6.78-inch OLED panel, with a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels, which therefore offers infinite contrasts and deep blacks. The screen is also HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatible, which should make it possible to obtain images with greater contrast and rich in detail thanks to an extension of the dynamic range. To top it off, the panel is LTPO and has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The DCI-P3 spectrum is covered at 120%; suffice to say that the range of colors displayed is very extensive. And in terms of maximum brightness, it’s very good too: it can go up to 6,500 nits.
Great power promised
As specified above, the Realme GT 7 Pro contains a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which integrates Oryon, the new very high-power CPU from Qualcomm which displays considerable performance gains, particularly in video games (up to 50%!) . The Snadragon 8 Elite features not one, but two very high-performance Oryon cores (up to 4.32 GHz) and six high-performance cores (up to 3.53 GHz). In short, the Realme GT 7 Pro should unsurprisingly be a particularly fast smartphone. Regarding its photo performance, we can count on a unit including a 50 Mpx wide-angle, a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom of 50 Mpx and an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle. All come with a touch of AI to capture better shots. An “aquatic” mode is even available.
Finally, in terms of its endurance, the Realme GT 7 Pro houses a 6500 mAh battery promising up to 23 hours of use of social networks or even 20 hours of video playback on YouTube. 120 W fast charging is also included, again helped by an AI charging system. Realme also promises that the smartphone can be fully recharged in just 37 minutes.
