Nicolas Delbourg is a daring business leader. Despite the economic situation, he developed by creating the Apromat brand at 179 avenue de Bordeaux. The brand offers nearly 7,000 references in electricity and plumbing for individuals and building professionals.
In a tense economic context, we had to dare. Nicolas Delbourg, 52, did it! After creating the company “Lum lighting” in 2012 in the Croix Sud economic zone, he decided to look further afield and develop: he recently opened the Apromat store (for “Pro-material purchases”) at 179 avenue de Bordeaux. “In this complicated period for the building industry, we had to adopt a new strategy by changing our name and profession. We were a team of three and I recruited four employees, some of whom were unemployed. The team is now made up of seven people, we developed the electricity part that we were already doing, and we opened up to plumbing. explains Nicolas Delbourg.
By offering nearly 7,000 references in store and soon a showroom, Apromat wants to compete with online sales sites. “We offer everything for the house in electrical and plumbing finishing work, from sanitary facilities to heating and air conditioning… To remain competitive and have access to brands, we joined a group of independents. With us, the products are available all immediately, with technical advice in addition Our employees are all professional, because it is easier to advise customers when you know how to do it. assures Nicolas Delbourg. What's more, the business manager wanted “build a team in my image, by recruiting first and foremost people from Narbonne”. Likewise, to renovate the Avenue de Bordeaux site, “it was a duty for me to only work with local companies.”
Apromat thus hopes to supply an equally local clientele, whether made up of individuals or building professionals looking for a new supplier.
Apromat is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
