Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in India on December 9, and the first official information suggests a smartphone that will maintain its excellent quality/price ratio.
This new model from the famous Note series could well restore the brand’s image in the mid-range segment. Even before its official launch, the Chinese manufacturer has lifted the veil on several characteristics of its next device.
From what we already know, the Note 14 Pro+ will sport a distinctive design with a rear photo module with three cameraswith a design inspired by the Xiaomi logo. Three colors will be offered, including a classic black version and a purple finish in faux vegetable leather.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will pack a punch
On the photo side, Redmi is banking on a 50 megapixel main sensoraccompanied by a 50 megapixel telephoto lens offering a 2.5x optical zoom, and a 8 megapixel ultra wide angle. The 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display is expected to reach a maximum brightness of 3,000 cd/m², while offering a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatibility. Protection will be provided by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass.
If we rely on the Chinese version, the device could carry the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processorbetween 12 and 16 GB of RAM, and storage ranging from 256 to 512 GB in UFS 2.2 or 3.1. An imposing 6,200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging completes the technical sheet, alongside a fingerprint reader under the screen and IP68 certification against water and dust.
Although Indian prices have not yet been communicated, the Note 14 Pro+ is sold in China from 1,999 yuan (around 260 euros). However, its predecessor, the Note 13 Pro Plus, was sold for more than 30,000 rupees in India (around 335 euros), suggesting a similar price positioning.
The manufacturer also promises the integration of new features powered by artificial intelligence, the details of which will likely be revealed during the official launch. Further information should be communicated in the days preceding the December 9 event in India. It remains to be seen when the smartphone will arrive in France.
