Packing a suitcase is often a real ordeal, especially when it comes to closing it. Clothes, accessories and toiletries often take up too much space, and we find ourselves either having to compromise or loading ourselves up like a mule. Fortunately, the JBL Clip 4 shouldn’t pose too many constraints for you, because this high-performance Bluetooth speaker, which received a score of 9/10 in our test, fits in any pocket. So it’s hard to resist this offer which drops it from 64.99 euros to 32.53 euros on Amazon during the summer sales.

Don’t be fooled by its size
The most music lovers among us may be scared at the idea of listening to music on a speaker as small as the JBL Clip 4. While the device does indeed have to make some compromises to fit into such a small format, particularly in the bass, it nevertheless pleasantly surprised us during our test. With its two transducers, one passive and the other active, it is capable of producing a balanced, clear and rather pleasant sound. In short, it is not heresy to make it play your favorite songs.
Especially since it can be used in a wide variety of situations. Indeed, the JBL Clip 4 is not bulky and can be slipped anywhere, but not only. The American manufacturer had the good idea to equip its speaker with a carabiner, which allows it to be hung almost anywhere. Better still: in addition to its robust chassis, it is IP67 certified and therefore does not fear dust, sand or splashes. So you can go hiking, cycling or lounging on the beach accompanied by the best hits of the summer.
Simple and efficient
To complete the picture, the autonomy of the JBL Clip 4 deserves to be highlighted: during our test, it provided nearly 9 hours of listening at a suitable volume. A more than satisfactory score, which should suit most users. It can be recharged from 0 to 100% in just under 3 hours with a 10 W charger via its USB-C port.
Among the minor flaws of the device, we will note the lack of support for the JBL Portable application, and the absence of multipoint Bluetooth, which would have allowed it to connect to several devices simultaneously. However, for some, this rhymes with greater ease of use, which is not always guaranteed with Bluetooth speakers.
