Google has announced a new interface for Google Calendar that will allow users to view all their upcoming tasks at a glance.
For several years, Google has made Google Calendar its preferred service for managing common tasks. In addition to classic events, it is in fact possible to add specific tasks, which may be recurring.

However, until now, it was only possible to view tasks on the mobile version of Google Calendar via the classic calendar view. The tasks were thus mixed with other events and it could be quite complicated to navigate.
A dedicated task view in Google Calendar
It is in this context that Google announced on its blog, Friday, November 22, an overhaul of the integration of tasks in the Google Calendar application. Similar to what is already offered on the PC version of the service, users can now choose to display a specific view for tasks.
Instead of the calendar, a specific list of tasks will then be displayed on the screen. The tasks are therefore sorted into several tabs, according to the task lists, then organized in chronological order.
This new organization of tasks in Google Calendar will be deployed in the coming days for all Google Calendar users. It will therefore concern not only users of a corporate Google Workspace account but also individuals with their simple personal Google account.
