A new Realme smartphone, likely the GT Neo 7, has received certification in China. This certification hints at an imminent launch and reveals details about the upcoming device.
The Realme GT Neo 6 was released last May. The highlight of this upper mid-range smartphone was its top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 along with a large battery and 120W fast charging support. Today, a new Realme smartphone was certified in China and is expected to be the successor to the GT Neo 6.
A mysterious device with model number RMX5060 has surfaced on certification site 3C and it is speculated to be the Realme GT Neo 7. The certification reveals that the purported Realme GT Neo 7 will be a 5G smartphone. Additionally, the certification reveals that the phone’s charger supports fast charging up to 80W.
Previous leaks and rumors have suggested that the Realme GT Neo 7 will feature a flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. It could also have a high refresh rate of 144Hz. Since the Realme GT series is known for its high performance, one can expect a high-end processor. A leak suggests that the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will power the smartphone.
So far, the company has not officially revealed anything. However, the new certification suggests that the launch could be close. Previous reports suggest that Realme could release the GT Neo 7 in December.
