The connectivity integrated into this creative gaming laptop PC is good, consisting of 2 USB-C (compared to 1 maximum usually), 2 video outputs (compared to 1 in general) HDMI and practical mini-DisplayPort for easily connecting this computer to a TV or a monitor for example, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6E ax wireless modules to communicate and connect remotely, Ethernet and audio ports as well as 2 USBs (USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 compatible), USB 3.0 ensuring transfers up to 5 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are connected.

The Medion Erazer Defender P50 (MD68598) is aimed at those who want to have a versatile 17-inch laptop that performs well in creative-oriented gaming.
You can play recent games on this gaming laptop PC since it features the dedicated high-end GeForce RTX 4060 ray tracing NVIDIA Ada Lovelace graphics card.
In addition to gamers, the GeForce RTX 4060 will interest creators. Because this graphics card accelerates processing under software that takes advantage of GPU computing power, such as Vegas, VSDC or the Adobe suite.
Depending on the tasks performed, NVIDIA Optimus technology automatically activates/deactivates the GeForce RTX 4060 in real time. It prefers the Iris Xe graphics solution integrated into the processor as much as possible because it consumes little energy, which promotes autonomy.
Expect approximately 4 hours of battery operation in light use.
Optimus actually uses the GeForce RTX 4060 when the tasks performed are considered too heavy for the Iris Xe, typically for gaming. With the Iris Xe or the GeForce RTX 4060, it is of course possible to view HD photos and videos in any case.
It is the Core i5-12450H processor with 8 hybrid cores with old Alder Lake architecture which hosts the Iris Xe. It's paired with 16GB of RAM to provide good overall performance that many users will appreciate.
The Core i5-12450H reveals its potential in multi-core work, such as photo editing, video editing or 3D rendering.
However, if carrying out processing is the priority, it will be better to turn to a PC with a more recent processor with a greater number of efficient cores.
In terms of storage, Medion opts for a 512 GB SSD, a solution found under many laptops on the market.
What if we need more space? In this case we can rely on a storage device, preferably USB 3.0/USB-C type to benefit from fast transfers.
In any case, the SSD clearly improves fluidity and responsiveness thanks to its high speed. It also offers other advantages: low energy consumption, silent operation and even robust design.
In practice, thanks to the SSD we can quickly access online game cards for example and we obtain rapid game/software launches as well as processing and starts/stops.
Finally, this versatile creative gaming laptop PC heats up and makes itself heard when it is heavily used (e.g. games, treatments).
A ventilated support can be associated with it if necessary to limit its temperatures (remember to check the dimensions carefully!).
