If you are interested in the latest MacBook Air, equipped with the M3 chip, it is already available today at a completely new price: 1,199 euros instead of 1,299 euros for the model with 16 GB of RAM. The one with 8 GB is also sold at 949 euros instead of 1,179 euros, with trade-in, at Boulanger.
For this year 2024, Apple presented its new MacBook Air powered by the M3 chip. An unchanged design, with the main novelty, a more efficient chip. A transportable and powerful machine which already benefits from better value for money thanks to this discount of up to 230 euros. We say thank you on Black Friday!
What does the MacBook Air M3 2024 offer?

A slightly revised design
At first glance, the 2024 MacBook Air largely copies the design of the M2 model. Still exemplary finishes, with the same weight, but also the same unsightly notch that was already criticized in the previous model. Apple claims to have improved the “Midnight” finish which should be less sensitive to fingerprints.
With its weight of 1.24 kg, this MacBook Air M3 remains a compact, truly portable machine, which will suit all nomadic users or those with a rather narrow desk. In terms of display, we have a 13-inch panel that is bright, contrasting and with accurate colors. It’s a shame not to find Mini-LED or Oled in this range.
Significantly increased performance with this M3 chip
Apple once again demonstrates its ability to deliver a high-performance machine. With the M3 chip, the machine is even more versatile for creative uses (photo, video) with an improving GPU part. On the other hand, it is always difficult to launch the latest games of the moment: it is not his favorite area.
More powerful, the 2024 MacBook Air is still just as durable. During our test, it was able to last a day and a half before dropping below 10% by mixing office, browsing, video playback, file sending and others. With sustained use, adding photo/video editing as well as a little gaming, it will need to be recharged at the end of the day. As for charging, with a power of 30 W, it will take more than 2 hours to get the machine back to 100%.
