Mineral exploration

Opawica identifies 20 priority drilling targets.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is the result of Opawica Explorations’ collaboration with GoldSpot Discoveries, a world leader in the field of AI.

Both identified gold targets using a “smart targeting” approach as well as drilling and drilling Televiewer (imaging) data from 2021 and 2022.

The 20 drill targets total approximately 10,000 meters of drill data on the Bazooka property. Using Televiewer data, four possible structures of mineralized veins and schistosities in the Abitibi gold belt were identified by Opawica.

This Vancouver firm therefore called on AI. “Our team [utilise cette] technology to optimize our ability to target known zones of mineralization on [notre projet] Arrowhead,” said Opawica CEO Blake Morgan.

Hope for a major discovery

The field of possibilities is expanding. “By integrating cutting-edge machine learning with traditional exploration methods, [l’on] thus increases the probability of a major discovery,” he continued.
