Galaxy S25: here's when the new Samsung smartphones should arrive!

While the Galaxy Z Fold SE is limited to China and South Korea, Samsung's next high-end smartphones will arrive internationally: the Galaxy S25.

There is not much time left to wait before discovering this new generation. A recent survey sent to some Vietnamese users of Galaxy phones has just given some first clues about the announcement period.

Asking what improvements they would like to see in future high-end Galaxy phones due in 2025, they were offered a 10% discount offer on the upcoming Galaxy S models.

The interesting thing is that we can read that the voucher will be sent to users on January 5, 2025. This period could thus allude to the opening of pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.

Contrary to what other media would have you believe, this does not mean that these devices will be announced on that date. SamMobile indeed underlines that Samsung pre-reservations are open “a few weeks” before their announcement.

If we follow the manufacturer's habits, all this would point to an official release of the Galaxy S25 in mid-January 2025.

“However, this survey was sent to users by a retailer in Vietnam and not directly by Samsung. It is therefore possible that pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25 series will not be open on this date”adds the media.

For information, Samsung's Galaxy S24s were announced on January 17, 2024, compared to February 1, 2023 for the Galaxy S23s. Given that manufacturers are earlier in announcing their high-end smartphones, like Google and its Pixel 9, an announcement in mid-January 2025 of the Galaxy S25 seems even more likely.
