This type of feat is made possible by artificial intelligence applications such as DomoAI, Lensgo, Unboring, Video Cartoonizer and it is increasingly popular, especially among the young American population. The most surprising thing is that it is not particularly difficult to achieve such a transformation. Here we will see how to achieve this with Lensgo, which is relatively easy to use, as we will see.

The original video
L’applicationapplication Lensgo is accessible at this address: lensgo.ai. Once on the site, you have to – oddly enough – go to Generation history (History of images / videos generated) in the left menu to register. Note that you are entitled to 100 free points, which you will therefore have to use wisely, knowing that a video transformed into a cartoon will cost you around fifteen points for 5 seconds. Beyond that, you will need to upgrade to a paid version.
Lensgo is a fairly complete application, with which you can accomplish many tasks. It notably serves as an image generative AI. However, the function that will also interest us is called StyleStyle Transfer. When you choose this option, you are asked to upload a video or a file of a durationduration of 30 seconds maximum, with a size less than 50 MB. If you want to get an idea of what to do first, you can choose one of the video templates offered – that’s what we did with the video of the dancer presented above.
Choosing a conversion style,
On the left, you can see that the default conversion style is Claymotion (a clay motion style popularized by the Wallace & Gronit series). You can choose other styles: Pixar, Ghibli, 3D video game in the style of the 90s…
Below, you can indicate whether to change the entire scene (All) or only the characters present in the video (People). The other options cannot be changed in the free version: 5 seconds of video and normal quality.
In the right part, click on Preview to see a preview of what the final cartoon should look like. If you like this preview, click Generate Video, otherwise, choose another style.
