Stratus received the award Tuesday at the first annual Joseph C. Belden Innovation Summit, which focused on innovation through presentations and panel discussions focused on the technology presented by the three finalists of this year’s prize.

Industry judges who evaluated the entries noted in particular that the ztC Endurance platform enabled any organization to easily run mission-critical applications and complex software stacks without downtime or data loss. One judge noted that the platform is user-friendly, providing the necessary data and functionality without requiring the user to have extensive server expertise.

The other two finalists were TECHMEDO, whose intelligent healthcare operating system aims to transform access to care for rural and underserved communities, and Voleatech GmbH, which presented its VT AIR firewall software Next-generation OT, bridging the gap between connectivity and security in the OT network space.

The three finalists were selected by a jury of industry experts from a highly competitive field of applications. These applications were evaluated based on criteria such as level of innovation, commercial value and ESG (environmental, social or governance) impact.
