Google TV integrates a very practical new feature with a big constraint

To encourage interactions between users, the Google application welcomes a new feature. Friends, family, it is now possible to share the films and series you watch with your loved ones. But there is a big “but”…

Among the topics of conversation that often come up on the table are the series and films we watch. Often, we give advice, everyone takes their notes and then, if they wish, search for the desired content to view it. With the new Google TV feature, available on iOS and Android versions, it becomes much easier to share recommendations with loved ones. In fact, just click on the share icon to simply send a notification to the desired person. The latter displays the link to the content available on the application, an image and a small summary.

This is where the “but” comes in… But you can’t share the content itself. In other words, the loved one who receives the link does not obtain access to view it. The user must have the required subscription or purchase said content if they wish to benefit from it. Of course, you must have the Google TV application on your device. Otherwise, the link will simply return to the Google TV site to encourage you to download it.
