TECHNOLOGY. The Drummondville web agency Nmédia is currently holding, for a second consecutive year, its collaborative development marathon, the Nmédia Hackathon. On the program: around thirty employee participants will have to collaborate to give birth to innovative digital solutions, all in record time, i.e. two days.

For this year, the theme chosen is “AI, for the benefit of Nmedia and its clients”. Participating teams will have to present their creations to a professional jury made up of Quebec innovation figures. They are Kym Dupuis, senior consultant in hyperautomation and artificial intelligence and content producer at Dupuis Images, Marie-Ève ​​Hermkens, president and founder of the InnovIA Group, Olivier Drouin, vice-president of product development at TELUS santé and Laurent Barcelo, partner and CTO at Videns Analytics

A successful first edition

In 2023, Nmedians had the opportunity to carry out an innovation blitz focused on artificial intelligence for the benefit of Followmybid. Since 2020, this Drummondville auction platform has helped NPOs across Canada raise more than $10 million.

This collaborative development marathon also allowed Nmedia to integrate artificial intelligence projects into concrete applications, today offering its clients business solutions at the cutting edge of technology.

“The days are intense, full of learning and challenges where every detail counts. Together, we push the limits of innovation, explore new ideas and find new solutions,” said Patrick Bélanger, vice-president of innovation and compliance for Nmedia.

For this second edition, the participating teams will focus on challenges with topics that cover the services offered by Nmedia, ranging from custom development, mobile experience to digital marketing and solution integration. business. These solutions must integrate artificial intelligence as much as possible in order to improve Nmedia’s services and optimize internal processes, while strengthening inter-expertise collaboration.

The Nmedia Hackathon is also an opportunity for the agency’s employees to live an immersive experience where dynamic teams challenge each other to push the limits while perfecting their learning.

With an atmosphere that is both fun and engaging, group spirit and collaboration will be in the spotlight during these two days.
