Lovers of RTS from the 90s-2000s, this message is for us! It’s even a game to absolutely put on your Steam wishlist. The title is called Fractured Alliance and it is a project currently under construction by a team of enthusiasts. People who like the RTS of the time, especially Command & Conquer. If the game is still at an early stage, it still deserves to have a little light on it.
Fractured Alliance will offer a campaign at launch with a skirmish part and of course multiplayer. You will have the choice between three different factions which each have strengths and of course weaknesses. We are obviously counting on the Tense Game studio to offer us something balanced.
Three very distinct factions
- United Federation: Armed with high-tech weapons, the United Federation leverages plasma and railgun technology for precision strikes. Although their specialized units and energy-based defenses excel at targeted damage, they come at a high cost, requiring careful management and tactical precision.
- Eastern Alliance: Built on brute force, the Eastern Alliance boasts tough, heavily armored units and devastating weapons of effect. Using flame and radiation technology, they excel at crowd control and territory defense, but the slower speed and lack of precision of their units leaves them vulnerable to agile enemies.
- The Collective : Perfect for newcomers, The Collective relies on autonomous drones for a continuous presence on the battlefield. Their swarm tactics allow for sustained pressure, but their drones are less durable and can be thwarted by high damage defenses.
You can find Fractured Alliance on PC, via Steam. Unfortunately the game does not have a release date yet.
