A classic recipe, but which can be refined
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is a smartphone with flat edges and rounded corners, thin and light despite its large battery, but also robust with Gorilla Glass Victus and IP54 certification. Fingerprints print on the back, but the design is quite nice. Once again, Xiaomi proves that it has mastered the subject of screens with this Amoled panel in 1.5K definition (2712 x 1220 pixels), bright, with faithful colors and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz .
On the back, we are entitled to a 200 Mpx main sensor (f/1.65) with OIS optical stabilizer, an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.2) and a 2 Mpx macro sensor (f/ 2.4). At the front, there is a 16 Mpx (f/2.4) front sensor which is capable of taking convincingly rendered selfies. Without too many concessions
To run efficiently, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G relies on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 coupled with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. Overall, it's a phone that's comfortable in most tasks. It does well on the benchmarks, it does well in gaming and doesn't get too hot. During our test, we ran Fortnite in Epic quality at up to 60 FPS, although the frame rate dropped to 20 FPS in denser locations.
Let's conclude on autonomy, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G can count on a 5,100 mAh battery for which the Chinese firm boasts a standby autonomy of 15 days. During mixed use, this smartphone can last about a day and a half, but the battery melts quickly when pushed to its limits. The real plus is its compatibility with 67 W charging. It allows it to go from 1% to 100% autonomy in 45 minutes – a very good score for the price.
