Last spring, the messaging app WhatsApp (Meta) introduced three discussion filters (All, Unread and Groups).
The filter All corresponds to the view where all messages are displayed. The filter Slow down shows messages that have not yet been opened. The filter Groups allows you to find all groups in one place and easily access related discussions.
In line with these filters, WhatsApp is now deploying custom lists. Users will be able to filter discussions using categories of their choice. A list can be created by pressing the “+” icon in the filter bar at the top of the discussions tab.
As long as you are well organized…
The user chooses a name to give to their list and can choose which discussions should be added to it. Access to the different lists set up is done by scrolling horizontally in the filter bar.
” Like your Favorites, you can add both group chats or individual chats to a list and each list you create will appear in the filter bar “, writes WhatsApp.
By default, WhatsApp will continue to apply the filter All by displaying all messages in chronological order.
