In a press release posted on X/Twitter, the BioWare studio confirmed the arrival this week of a first patch aimed at correcting technical problems and refining certain aspects of the gameplay.
“Hello everyone,
Our first patch for DragonAge: The Veilguard arrives later this week on all platforms! This patch will include some bug fixes, minor balance changes, and some crash mitigations. Full patch notes will be available with the patch!
Here are some examples:
– Fixed an issue where some customizations were not applied correctly to the Inquisitor in a scene.
– Fixed an issue where DLSS options could end up being “grayed out” on an Nvidia 40 series GPU. (PC only)
– Fixed an issue that caused companions' skill points to be reset.”
With this first patch, BioWare addresses the main issues pointed out by the public. On the one hand, the customization of the Inquisitor, a fundamental element for players of Dragon Agewill be improved to provide more fluidity and consistency in the creation options. Likewise, the skills of companions, sometimes unbalanced, will benefit from fixes to strengthen their impact in combat and optimize the usefulness of allies. Finally, for PC gamers, the adjustment of DLSS technology is particularly awaited, since bugs affecting the Nvidia 40 series GPU could prevent DLSS from being activated. For the moment, BioWare has not posted a full patch note regarding this update.
Disponible sur PS5, Xbox Series X/S et PC, Dragon Age : The Veilguard has been on the market since October 31, 2024.
