XMG officially unveiled the EVO 14 and EVO 15 laptops at Computex 2024. Both laptops are equipped with Inter Meteor Lake or AMD Ryzen 8000 Hawk Point CPUs.

XMG EVO 14

Starting with the smaller EVO 14, the laptop features a 14-inch display with 3K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, claimed brightness of 400 nits, and 100% gamut coverage sRGB. The display is driven by a Core Ultra 7 155H with an integrated 8-core ARC gPU ARC GPU or a Ryzen 7 8845HS with a Radeon 780M iGPU. Additionally, XMG claims that the EVO 14 can deliver 65W of power to the internal components thanks to a dual-fan cooling solution and rear vents.

When it comes to port selection, the XMG EVO 14 is a real gem:

  • An HDMI output and an RJ45 socket on the back
  • Two Type-A and an SD card reader on the left
  • One USB 4/Thunderbolt 4 port, one Type-A port, one 3.5mm jack, and one Kensington port on the right

Finally, the XMG EVO 14 has a large 80 Wh battery and weighs only 1.4 kg, making it a portable machine with great potential autonomy.

XMG EVO 15

With a few differences, the The laptop is also equipped with a dual-fan air cooling solution aimed at keeping the temperature at a constant level with a consumption of 65W.

The main differences between the XMG EVO 15 and EVO 14 are the larger 99.8 Wh battery, edge-to-edge keyboard with a number pad, and a 15.3-inch display with 500 nits brightness. XMG hasn’t revealed the resolution and color space coverage target, but it’s safe to assume the display is also 3K and aims to hit 100% sRGB.

Finally, the EVO 15 features the same port selection and weighs 1.65 kg.
