Chassis, connections, screen of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14AHP9 (83E3000CFR)

It has an elegant original look with its compact, thin and lightweight Tidal Teal teal blue aluminum design certified to the American military resistance standard MIL-STD-810H.

The connectivity integrated into this laptop is good, including 2 USB-C including 1 USB 4, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E ax wireless modules for communicating and connecting remotely, a practical HDMI video output for easy connection to a or a monitor for example, an audio port without forgetting 1 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) ensuring transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you plug in a USB 3.0 device.

Through the Infrared functionalities of the webcam as well as Windows Hello, you can biometrically authenticate yourself by facial recognition.

The chiclet keyboard obviously has a backlighting solution. You can activate it when you need to better discern your keys.

The screen will delight fans of High Definition content since it promises to be 2.5K which is superior to Full HD. As a bonus it is 16/10th format higher than the classic 16/9th and therefore displays more elements.
Thanks to its IPS sRGB characteristics, the screen also has significant vertical and horizontal viewing angles while reproducing colors more faithfully than average.
The screen adopts a refresh rate of 90H higher than the 60Hz standard, which ensures better fluidity on a daily basis.
As it is anti-reflective, the screen is also more readable in a bright environment (e.g. outdoors) than a shiny panel.

Performance, autonomy of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14AHP9 (83E3000CFR)

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14AHP9 (83E3000CFR) is aimed at those looking for a compact High Definition laptop in an original color that performs well in terms of multimedia-oriented processor.

It delivers solid general performance because it is driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS Hawk Point Octo Core processor into which the Radeon 780M graphics module is inserted, coupled with 16 GB of RAM.

This duo guarantees treatments carried out more quickly than if we were dealing with a Quad/Hexa Core.
The difference is particularly noticeable in work requiring CPU and RAM resources that takes advantage of multi-core, such as photo editing or video editing.

SSD storage helps make processing fast, like starts/stops and software launches.
Generally speaking, the SSD guarantees good responsiveness and fluidity because it is fast. As a bonus, an SSD is quiet, energy efficient and shock resistant.

Lenovo integrates here a 1 TB SSD, high capacity to install and store many applications and files including personal creations if desired.

This laptop, however, does not have a dedicated graphics card.
Consequently, all graphics are supported by the Radeon 780M.

In practice you can watch HD photos and videos. Or even play light to modest games if you are ready to make concessions such as a reduction in screen definition.
Because more graphics calculations are necessary in 2.5K than in Full HD, which results in a lower number of fps.

Finally, this thin and light compact mobile computer with an original blue design, as easy to carry as an Ultrabook, is able to last around 7 hours on battery in light use, enough to interest some people looking for a multimedia-oriented student laptop.

In the event of heavy loads (e.g. treatments), expect this model to heat up and make itself heard. To contain its temperatures, a ventilated support can be added if necessary (remember to check the dimensions carefully!).
