During the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, Microsoft formalized the arrival of 3 new consoles on the market, two Xbox Series X and an Xbox Series S. The pre-order phase is now over and the new versions of the consoles are now available.
The 100% digital Xbox Series
With the Xbox Series X Robot White, Microsoft has opted for a different color, as well as a console without a disc reader. This version is still offered for €499.99, which may seem high given that it was the base price of the Xbox Series X with reader in 2020 (now sold at €549.99).
Not being equipped with a disc reader, this console is certainly aimed at players who wish to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, or who want to build a digital library of games, unless they already have one. .

La Xbox Series X Galaxy Black 2 To
The biggest news in the selection of consoles is precisely the Xbox Series X Galaxy Black. Unlike the Robot White, it is equipped with a disc player.
This new console also stands out with its 2 TB SSD, as well as a multitude of small white and green dots on the black color. The controller base, like the rear part of the controller provided in the pack, is green.
The Xbox Series X Galaxy Black is now available for €649.99. Note that this edition can only be purchased from the Microsoft Store.

La Xbox Series S Robot White 1 To
After offering a 1TB Xbox Series S Carbon Black in 2023, Microsoft is replacing this model with a Robot White, offered at the same price of €349.99. It is therefore a much less powerful console than the Xbox Series X and does not have a disc player.
