DJI: the release date of the new consumer drone is now official

DJI waited several months this year to unveil a new consumer product. However, the company is not left out, as it has released the Osmo Action 5 Pro and Neo. Although the company has not yet confirmed what it has in store, it has at least indicated when it will introduce another device.

As a last-minute leak suggested, DJI intends to introduce a new product on October 15th rather than October 23rd. Additionally, the company’s teaser confirms that the “Chase the View” event will begin at 1:00 p.m. UTC. That being said, this is likely when DJI will open up pre-orders worldwide. Please note that it remains to be seen when pre-orders will begin shipping.

Right now, DJI is expected to announce the Air 3S rather than the flagship Mavic 4 model. While it’s not official yet, the former has been leaked more than the latter in recent weeks. In this regard, DJI’s teaser suggests that the device arriving on October 15 will have two cameras, which corresponds to the expectations of a Mavic 3S Air 3 (currently $1,239 on Amazon), and not of a replacement for the Mavic 3.
