It’s the “elephant in the room,” as the Americans say. A major subject that Apple doesn’t really want to talk about at the moment. This is of course its “Apple Intelligence”, a set of ultra-personalized services announced by the multinational this summer. While its iPhone 16 and 16 Pro have just been released, these artificial intelligence functions are still lacking: they must begin to be launched in October in the United States, and not before 2025 in Europe – no precise date has been communicated . The iPhone 16s therefore lack significant improvements to the Siri assistant and the inclusion of ChatGPT for certain external searches: in these conditions, is it relevant to acquire these new phones?
Unsurprisingly, the 16 Pro model that we tested offers small changes compared to the 15 Pro. We notice that the screen is larger, its diagonal increasing from 6.1 to 6.3 inches. This is thanks to thinner edges, but the device has also become wider (1 mm) and higher (3 mm) and above all heavier: its weight is 199 grams (+12 grams), but still lower than the 206 grams of the 14 Pro.
