As previously announced, the famous Windows Recall function is making a comeback, but not for everyone (we will come back to it a little later). Obviously, it does not arrive in a small update, but as part of Windows 24H2, also known as Windows 11 2024. This update for individuals also marks the arrival of Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 While Windows 24H2 gets two years of support, its enterprise sibling gets five years (the IoT version gets a decade).

In addition to the above, it is worth mentioning that the callback feature is making a return, but in stages. Windows Insiders using Snapdragon devices will have access to this famous feature later this month, while those using Intel and AMD platforms will have to wait until November. The arrival of this feature for a wider audience will be announced in the coming months.
Although it was revealed yesterday, the latest Windows 11 update will take some time to reach all eligible devices. According to Microsoft, this is
a phased rollout that will begin over the coming weeks, starting with eligible devices running Windows 11, version 22H2 and 23H2, that have the “Receive the latest updates as they become available” option set to “On” If the update is available for your device, it will be downloaded and installed automatically.”
Additionally, people in a hurry can try creating installation media using the Media Creation Tool or use the Windows 11 Setup Wizard to get the update faster.
