Information leaks keep coming from Nintendo. After seeing the design of its next console revealed on
A series of leaks on the Nintendo Switch 2
The look of the console revealed on
The announcement of Nintendo’s next console is eagerly awaited by gamers around the world, and like any wait that has been awaited for – too – long, information leaks are to be expected despite the ton of precautions taken by the Kyoto firm to avoid them.
This did not prevent us from seeing the future design of the console appear last week wandering around on social networks… If the said leak were to be confirmed, the Nintendo Switch 2 would be equipped with magnetic rails which would allow better adhesion of the Joy-Con, with a screen that would measure 8 inches. Will this solve the infamous Joy-Con drift problem? Only time will tell, but we hope that Nintendo has finally corrected this major problem.
NVIDIA would continue to produce Nintendo APUs for its Switch 2
In addition to the design of Nintendo’s next machine, we also saw what would be the technical sheet for the Nintendo Switch 2 appear, once again on X. According to the leaker behind the leak, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be equipped with an NVIDIA chip similar to the one equipped with the PS4 Pro. If this information turns out to be true, we might finally have the power boost we’ve all been waiting for for Nintendo’s next console! It must be said that the capabilities of the current console have been reached for quite some time already… The icing on the cake: it would also be accompanied by 12 GB of RAM as well as an internal storage capacity of 256 GB. Did you no longer have space with the Nintendo Switch OLED and its 64 GB of internal storage? This problem will therefore finally be resolved if the information were to be confirmed.
Nintendo Switch 1 (standard) | Nintendo Switch 1 (OLED) | Nintendo Switch 2 (rumors) | |
Size | 10,16 x 23,87 x 1,39 cm | 10,16 x 24,13 x 1,39 cm | ? |

According to another leaker, AMD would have lost the possibility of working with Nintendo on its next console due to battery life issues. On this criterion precisely, Nintendo would have clearly refused to make the slightest concession which would have led to an increase in the weight of the console, but also in its price. A priori, the solution presented by NVIDIA made it possible to obtain the same efficiency while respecting Nintendo’s criteria relating to the price and dimensions of the console.
Bloomberg confirms Nintendo Switch 2 backwards compatibility
Finally, another crucial piece of information was revealed, this time by analysts from Bloombergrenowned for their seriousness and the credibility of their information. According to them, the Nintendo Switch 2 will not have an OLED screen but a simple LED panelprobably for cost reasons, which would be a regression in the eyes of a lot of players.
The surge of leaks concerning the Nintendo Switch 2 does not seem to have stopped, however, far from it…
New information revealed about the Nintendo Switch 2 in a Spanish podcast
After these two big leaks, the only information we were missing could only be the release date of the next Nintendo console as well as its launch price. We didn’t have to wait long before seeing a new leak with these two pieces of information…
This time, the source is surprisingly not Elon Musk’s social network but rather an accessories manufacturer who seems to be a little too vocal… Indeed, according to our colleagues at Clubic it was during an interview for a Spanish podcast that the CEO of Blade would have released valuable information regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 such as, for example, the approximate release date of the console as well as its price. Just that!
A release date that is fast approaching…
It’s probably the release date of Nintendo’s next console that most interests Switch players, and so far, rumors about it are rife and going in all directions. According to the CEO of Blade, the console would be released between around March and April 2025.
This estimate makes sense. Indeed, Nintendo closing its accounts each year in March, it could well be that the Japanese giant uses its long-awaited console as aa lever to adjust your income statement as you wish. More precisely, if Nintendo realizes by the end of the year that sales of its current console are not satisfactory, it is not impossible that the console arrives in our stores in March in order to boost accounting profit . On the contrary, if the current Switch continues to sell well, Nintendo could afford to wait until at least April before making it available.
Still the American press was officially invited to Nintendo next weekand it’s a safe bet that it won’t just be to talk about the next Super Mario Party Jamboree…
What about the price of the Nintendo Switch 2?
The price of the Nintendo Switch 2 is also a point that leakers frequently return to. Historically, Nintendo has always wanted to offer its consoles at a reasonable priceand according to the CEO of Blade, the future console could well be priced around €450.
Next to a non-pro PS5 or even an Xbox Series the Nintendo console continues with this strategy which consists of not being more expensive than its main competitors.
Faced with so much information leaking around its next console, Nintendo had better speak up quickly before we know everything about its Switch 2 even before the official presentation!
