There is something new for iPhone owners, and this innovation will interest all Internet users. We are not talking about a revolution, but a very practical development designed to increase online security. With the recent update of the iOS system for iPhone, which goes to version 18, a new application has appeared on these phones, simply called “Passwords”. A small novelty that changes a lot of things.

It was already possible to store passwords on iPhone, but this was in the “Settings” application. Now, this service gains visibility via a dedicated app. Within it, there are several subsections: all the passwords of sites and apps already saved, of course, but also the passwords of Wi-Fi networks and validation codes. There are also access keys, also called “passkeys”, intended to replace passwords and which are based on biometrics.
