Cauvaldor Fablab ready for fall

The Fablab du Quart Lieu de Cauvaldor offers a program of activities from September to December that can be viewed online! Practical workshops, technological discoveries and moments of conviviality are on the agenda for this end of the year. These activities are open to all upon registration.

Some highlights not to be missed. As part of the National Repair Days, the Fablab is organizing a repair workshop over coffee to try to give a second life to small defective objects. Whether it’s a broken part or a damaged item of clothing, the aim will be to try to repair them, while sharing know-how and good humor. Parent-child Visual Programming Workshop: A fun and educational activity for parents and children, where they can discover the basics of computer code.

Registered people and the Fablab team will create their own digital application together while exploring the history of computing, current issues and the jobs of the future, before sharing a friendly snack. Finally, in partnership with the Gourdon Fablab, everyone will be able to learn to identify types of plastics and discover different recycling techniques. The team from both Fablabs will show how to transform these materials in a creative and fun way.

The full program is available on the website www.cauvaldor.fr. Registration is now possible to take advantage of these workshops rich in discovery and exchange! Operation and registration In addition to the above workshops open to all (by registration), the Fablab offers an annual membership system.

This includes training on the machine of your choice: laser cutter, digital embroidery machine, 3D printers, 3D scanner and vinyl cutting plotter. No need to have specific knowledge to access the machines, the Cauvaldor Fablab team is there to train members and support them in their projects.
