Developers, partners and customers are invited to attend Samsung Developer Conference 2024 in person or virtually

The event will highlight how Samsung’s latest innovations in software, services and platforms are shaping the AI-powered future

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that it will host Samsung Developer Conference 2024 (SDC24) at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California on October 3. As the tenth edition of SDC, the event will celebrate a decade of innovation and open collaboration with developers, partners and customers, with a focus on how to make the most of today’s AI innovations.

Attendees are encouraged to tune in to the Samsung SDC24 keynote live at 10:00 a.m. PT on October 3. The presentation will highlight the latest opportunities for cross-platform innovation, including ways to leverage SmartThings, Galaxy AI, Knox and Tizen for next-generation solutions. It will explore how developers can leverage AI capabilities to create revolutionary new apps and services while leveraging Samsung’s trusted platforms.

JH Han, Vice President, CEO and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics, will open SDC24 with a keynote that will celebrate Samsung’s vision of AI for All, which focuses on a more personalized and secure AI experience across multiple devices, spanning mobile, TV and home appliances. He will also discuss Samsung’s principles of AI ethics, which are at the core of Samsung’s AI technology development. Other speakers include:

  • Shin Baik, Head of Security Assurance, Device Platform Center, and many others.

In addition to the keynote, SDC24 will feature themed sessions for attendees to collaborate and learn more about Samsung’s latest developer-focused platforms and services, including SmartThings, Samsung Health, Tizen and more. These sessions will provide attendees with opportunities to deepen their knowledge of the latest software developments and services, and learn how to leverage Samsung’s AI solutions for new opportunities.

Additionally, select sessions will be featured on the Open Stage, where attendees can gain industry insights from experts and even meet a special speaker. Hands-on demonstrations of the latest products and services will be available at Tech Square. At Code Lab, developers can explore exciting new tools and software development kits (SDKs), as well as test out Samsung’s latest developer platform, which covers a range of topics for attendees to play, learn and develop their skills.
