Thanks to a 3-0 away win against Deportivo Alavés, FC Barcelona is once again the sole leader in Spain. After Real Madrid’s win against Villarreal on Saturday, coach Hansi Flick’s team had to get at least one point on Sunday to distance their rivals from the Spanish capital. The outstanding man on the Catalans’ side was 36-year-old Robert Lewandowski, who scored a flawless hat-trick in the first half with goals in the 7th, 22nd and 32nd minutes. Lewandowski now has ten goals this season after nine matchdays and also leads this statistic in Spain.
