Taking advantage of the expulsion of the former Monegasque Guillermo Maripan from Torino, Inter Milan won 3-2 on Saturday evening during the 7th day of Serie A. A success obtained thanks to a hat-trick from its French striker Marcus Thuram, who came off with an ankle injury in the second half. Not reassuring before the gathering of the France team.
An evening rich in emotions and very contrasting for Marcus Thuram. Inter Milan returned to the heels of the leader of the Italian championship, Naples, thanks to their 3-2 victory against Torino, stunned by an exclusion in the 20th minute and by a hat-trick from their French striker, Saturday during the 7th day. Four days after their easy victory in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade (4-0), the reigning champion scored a third consecutive victory for the first time this season. The exclusion in the 20th minute of Torino’s Chilean defender, Guillermo Maripan, for a dangerous tackle on Marcus Thuram greatly facilitated his task.
But Inter, in need in September, seems launched, even if it still showed some unusual signs of defensive feverishness which allowed the gap to be reduced by Duvan Zapata (36th) and Nikola Vlasic, from a penalty (86th). “What is more important than my hat-trick is the victory and the three points, we show that we are the same Inter as last season (…) Scoring three goals in front of our crowd is of course something strong”, admitted Thuram on the DAZN platform, with still very contained joy.

Inzaghi worried after his injury
