Rapper Booba, used to clashes and controversies, has once again attacked an emblematic figure of French rap: Diam’s. On X (formerly Twitter), Booba shared photos of the rapper, accompanied by the famous American producer P. Diddy. This gesture, which is part of a long series of provocations, quickly provoked a reaction from fans and detractors of Diam’s.
Diam’s, who retired from the music scene for several years to lead a more discreet life, did not escape Booba’s attention. The latter, known for his virulent attacks on his rivals, seems to want to rekindle old tensions with the rapper. By publishing these photos, Booba seems to be aiming to create a new controversy around Diam’s, who has chosen to move away from the spotlight.
However, Booba’s attack did not go unnoticed. Very quickly, many Internet users reacted, denouncing a provocation considered excessive. Diam’s fans, shocked, came to his defense vigorously. Among the comments, we could read indignant reactions: “Leave her alone, she is married with children and has since retired, don’t abuse it anyway”, or even “You’re not 50 Cent, stop that. You must really have something to be ashamed of to attack a woman who doesn’t even want to hear about music anymore.
Some Internet users also pointed out Booba’s supposed hypocrisy. They recall that he himself would have rubbed shoulders with P. Diddy in similar circumstances: “But are you forgetting that you did the same or what? » or even “Watch your little ass, you’re in it too”.
Despite these criticisms, Booba remains faithful to his provocative strategy and does not seem ready to back down. In response to the attacks, he posted a defiant message on X: “No one is going to fall. Because no one has R, and if posting a photo of Diam’s in a club is insulting religion, you are completely crazy and uneducated. We can’t do anything for you. You are the first to judge and therefore to sin. Go get some fresh air.”
This new controversy only strengthens the image of Booba, a master in the art of sparking debate and controversy. Diam’s, who had moved away from the public scene, found herself unwillingly at the heart of a divisive attack. While some support the Duke in his provocative approach, many consider that he went too far by attacking a retired artist and life today which is very different.
