Singer Bastian Baker is happy as a single

(Keystone-SDA) Swiss singer Bastian Baker is enjoying the single life. “Because life can be so sudden, freedom is extremely important to me,” said the 33-year-old in a recently published interview.

He wants to be able to do whatever he wants at any time. But that doesn’t mean that a girlfriend would restrict him, said the Lausanne-born singer in an interview with “20 Minutes”. He is sure that you can also live out your own freedom with a partner.

“I haven’t found the right person yet,” Baker continued. But he is convinced that when he meets “the one” he will know it. He also experiences this in his closest circle. Many are already in happy relationships and there are already a few children in his environment. He also recently became an uncle, which makes him “so happy”. But he doesn’t know yet whether he wants to have children of his own one day. This is not on his plan at the moment.

Bastian Baker, whose real name is Bastien Kaltenbacher, originally got a professional contract with the Fribourg-Gottéron ice hockey club after graduating from sports high school. But he then decided to concentrate on music – and released his debut album in 2011. In 2012, Baker won the Swiss Music Award as “Best Breaking Act National” and the “Prix Walo Newcomer”. The singer-songwriter has also had his own fashion label since 2015.
