SC Bern’s home game against HC Ajoie, originally scheduled for November 26th, will be postponed by 24 hours. SC Bern announced this on Wednesday.
The reason for this is the Bernese Young Boys’ Champions League home game against Atalanta Bergamo taking place on the same evening. Already in mid-September there was tension due to the match between YB and Aston Villa in the Champions League league phase: At that time, SCB also postponed the season opening game against the Tigers by one day.
Once again, safety concerns, the parking situation, traffic and the interest of the two fan groups are the reasons for the relocation. The game will now take place on November 27th at 7:45 p.m. Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid.
