Europe as defending champion

This year, the British Open, the last Major on the women’s professional circuit, marked the deadline to obtain direct qualification for the Solheim Cup. Charley Hull and Esther Henseleit (1st participation), first and second in the qualifying ranking via the LET, will participate in the competition. Six other Europeans have secured their place thanks to their position in the Rolex Ranking. Among them, the French Céline Boutier for a 4th participation, alongside Carlota Ciganda, Leona Maguire, Madelene Sagstrom, Maja Stark and Linn Grant.
