1B – MATCHS After having unfairly bowed down in the first leg against the cynicism of Patro Eisden, the RSCA Futures believed this Saturday to experience the same misfortune against the Limburgers for their first at home in Deinze. Not dangerous, the visitors nevertheless opened the scoring. The Futures did not give up and snatched a draw (1-1) in stoppage time on an angry header from Wola (in photo) who celebrated his contract extension with dignity.

For their first at home on the very good pitch (that must change for them) of Deinze, the RSCA Futures recovered Lapage in the center of defense to take the place of Baouf, who was unavailable. Maamar and Goto, on the other hand, were still available to the first team. Diawara entered the game last week and was chosen as an experienced element in place of Dom. It was De Cat who paid the price by being sent to the bench. Of the winter transfers, only Konaté was qualified unlike the Frenchman Sternal.

Anderlecht took the game directly into their own hands and created two great scoring opportunities. At the quarter-hour mark, Lapage alerted Ure to a pass which lobbed the defense. The Scottish striker eliminated the goalkeeper but his shot was pushed back on the line by a defender who came back in disaster. In the 27th minute of play, Lapage won his duel with a header from a Patro corner. The ball arrived at Tajaouart who threw Konaté deep. The Guinean winger, who was playing his second match since his arrival, took the defense quickly and forced Bellin to come out to meet him for a corner.

Harmless until then, the Patro woke up a little without however proving dangerous apart from two small hot situations in the Schlieck rectangle. Cynical in the first leg by materializing their only scoring chances, the Limburgers did it again by scoring just before the break on their first scoring opportunity, taking advantage of a small defensive approximation. The ball randomly pushed back by Lapage landed at the feet of Van Landschoot who delivered a superb cross to the head of Bammens who shot the goalkeeper to make it 0-1.

The match was more balanced in the second half and the Patro were in less difficulty. However, we note a header from Vroninks above the slat and a big opportunity for Ure who put the ball between the goalkeeper’s legs. He still managed to narrowly deflect the ball which was flying into the net.

Schlieck who passed under the ball on a corner allowed Patro the opportunity to double the lead but the well-placed Limburg player was unable to get on target. The Anderlecht goalkeeper, on the other hand, intervened well at the end of the match on an attempt by the visitors who took advantage of the forcing of the mauves to go on a counter-attack behind their defense.

A defeat for the young purples would have been unfair and fortunately for them they managed to equalize in stoppage time through Wola who pulled away to put a victorious header on a cross from Barry.
