Instead of renovating the severely degraded and unused tennis court, the municipality wanted to offer the population a place to practice numerous activities and therefore at the same time create links between the different practitioners. “We have chosen modular equipment, a multi-sport field allowing families, children and clubs in the town to primarily practice different sports”explains Mayor Pierre-François Bernard. He is pleased with the sporting dynamic that he has seen over the months at Premiers Sapins, for example the popular success of the Olympic festival organized in September in four villages in the town to highlight numerous disciplines. “The new structure will be installed next to the football field in order to pool access and parking and make it accessible to the school's students. It will be a hall measuring 22 by 36 meters with cladding made from local wood (350 m3), closed and lit, insulated but not heated.specifies the elected official. A carefully thought-out project in consultation with local associations and a group of residents.
The Premiers Sapin multisports hall will include 1 handball and futsal court, 1 basketball court, 4 3×3 basketball courts, 1 tennis court, 3 volleyball courts and 6 badminton courts. “It will be accessible according to slots with and without reservation and should be operational at the end of 2025”concludes the mayor.
