Instead of renovating the highly degraded and unused tennis court, the town wanted to offer the population a place where many activities practice and therefore create at the same time the link between the various practitioners. “We have chosen modular equipment, a multisports land allowing families, children and clubs in the municipality primarily to practice different sports”explains Mayor Pierre-François Bernard. He welcomes the sporting dynamics he has seen over the months at the first fir trees, for example the popular success met by the Olympic festival organized in September in four villages in the town to highlight many disciplines. “The new structure will be installed next to the soccer field in order to pool access and parking lots and make it accessible to school students. It will be a 22 meter hall hall whose cladding comes from wood from the town (350 m3), closed and lit, isolated but unheated ”specifies the elected official. A maturely thoughtful project in consultation with local associations and a group of inhabitants.
The Multisports Halle of the first fir trees will include 1 handball and futsal fields, 1 basketball field, 4 3 × 3 basketball fields, 1 tennis court, 3 volleyball courts and 6 badminton fields. “It will be accessible according to slots with and without reservation and should be operational at the end of 2025”concludes the mayor.
