The famous French sports publication “l’Équipe” presents the Atlas Lion as a major and indispensable asset in Luis Enrique’s playing system by titling “Achraf Hakimi, an athletic monster in the right lane of PSG.”

“Rarely in the history of PSG, a right-back has been as influential in the game as Achraf Hakimi. In this 2024-2025 season, the Moroccan is the man from whom the danger comes. An influence which is based in particular on its athletic dimension,” estimates the French daily.

For the sports newspaper, the Moroccan international remains an exceptional athlete who is essential in the Parisian squad which is preparing to play for its survival in the Champions League against Man City this Wednesday, January 22.

“Since the start of this Champions League, only Erling Haaland has been flashed faster than Hakimi (36.6 km/h compared to 36.5). In this position, in Europe, only Kyle Walker – before 2024-2025 – and Jeremie Frimpong (Leverkusen) can undoubtedly compete in top speed,” explains everyday life.

“The Team” justifies this power by the top speed of the semi-finalist of the 2022 World Cup with the Atlas Lions, by his muscular mass and by the great purity of his supports.

“A muscular physique that he works alongside a physiotherapist and a personal physical trainer in ”, teaches us about everyday sports.

“In the duel, after his training at Real Madrid, Hakimi was not known for his toughness. His stints in Germany (Dortmund) but especially in Italy (Inter Milan) transformed him,” concludes the author of the article.
