The coach of the XV of France spoke this Tuesday, January 21 on the controversial return of the two players under the colors of the XV of France.
Two names which did not go unnoticed on Wednesday January 15, when the coach of the French rugby team Fabien Galthié revealed the selection of the 42 players selected to prepare for the start of the 6 Nations Tournament. These are Oscar Jegou and Hugo Auradou.
The two young players (21 years old) were recently accused of rape by a 39-year-old Argentinian woman. They obtained a dismissal of the case but the plaintiff's lawyers appealed (it will be studied on February 10). Thus, the legal episode is not over.

This Tuesday, January 21, while the coaches and captains of the competing selections (France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy) are gathered in Rome for the launch of the competition, Fabien Galthié was questioned about the selection of the two players.
“I understand and I hear the controversy that this may cause but we completely take responsibility for our decisions” stated Fabien Galthié at the outset in comments notably relayed by The Team. “We only take performance into account. We have a very competent staff, and our choices, our classification position by position – these are decisions which are never easy, it is sometimes painful – must ultimately be simple and clear. The result is there. Performance comes first And then obviously the possibility of selecting them There were necessary and obvious conditions for their selection (the non-place, Editor's note).
